How Do I Define the Moments I Live Daily?

My brief visit to the public library this morning got me thinking about moments in my day and how I define them.

I was sitting at the computer with my youngest and overheard several mothers sighing over the requests or comments of their children.

How many times a day am I impatient at having to answer simple questions or requests from my own children? Could it be that those brief moments are actually God-moments placed in my daily life to help me live out what I believe before my children's eyes?

Those moments go by way too quickly. Before you know it there won't be any small children to take to the library during the day. They will no longer request my help for the simple mundane tasks of everyday.

I purpose to try to remember this and be thankful for every time I have to tie shoe laces, wipe noses, wash hands, help put pjs on, hold onto hands as we cross the road, sit outside to supervise playtime, pack lunches...The list goes on.

My prayer is that God will help me as I define these moments - so many placed in my life by Him - to be truly grateful.
